AX-7 SFX & Grip was founded in 2005, originally focused on camera grip and special effects equipment.

Within a few years, our passion for practical effects took the lead and today, AX-7 is a dedicated special effects company,

trusted across film, television, commercials, theatre, and live entertainment.

We offer a wide range of practical effects and support:

• Atmospherics:  Fire FX, Rain, Snow, Fog, Haze, Wind, Mist

• Pyrotechnics & Weaponry:  Explosions, Bullet hits, and film weapons, executed to the highest safety standards with full legal documentation. We carry a wide variety of weapons and dummies for film use and our team includes licensed pyrotechnicians and specialists, certified for weaponry, explosive or fire-based effects.

• Custom FX & Props: blood rigs, miniature air-pressure systems, air cannons, heating systems for underwater shoots, custom-built electronic circuits and props tailored to your scene.

While our main focus is Special Effects, we continue to provide select grip gear such as a camera crane, motion control head, tracks, and simple platform dollies for film and live broadcast needs.
